Our first overnight ⚓️

Image
Another first πŸ€™πŸ» for us. Overnight anchored on the east side of Giant’s Tomb Island. We picked the perfect day/night, no wind or neighbors, serene best describes it. Captain Richard is doing a fine job…..back home, safely back in our slip.

The Admiral says goodbye to laundromats πŸ₯³

Our combo washer dryer was just delivered.  Wrangled it down the stairs and into it’s new home.  Richard doing acrobatics/plumbing. It held the second time….yup, leaked overnight, disconnect, back up the stairs for some adjustments and repeat.  Next we are putting a 4 inch hole in the hull of our boat for the vent 🀦‍♀️.  We hired Simon O’rourke and he did a great job. Vent siliconed into place, now all we (Richard) need to do is reconnect the receptacle to the electrical panel and I’ll be in business. P.s. still nervous about the hole 🐟

Up she goes!

Not a lot of action shots today.  It took both of us to wrestle  Alikat out of the water with our crane, swing her around and up onto her cradle without hitting our boat or knocking either of us overboard.  Success πŸ‘Œ Then the captain got to work putting the cover back on and cleaning the green slime off the bottom.  With the dinghy up and out of the way it will be easier for us to back out of our slip and head out for some day cruises.😎
