The Admiral says goodbye to laundromats šŸ„³

Our combo washer dryer was just delivered. 





Wrangled it down the stairs and into itā€™s new home. 


Richard doing acrobatics/plumbing. It held the second timeā€¦.yup, leaked overnight, disconnect, back up the stairs for some adjustments and repeat. 

Next we are putting a 4 inch hole in the hull of our boat for the vent šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø.  We hired Simon Oā€™rourke and he did a great job.


Vent siliconed into place, now all we (Richard) need to do is reconnect the receptacle to the electrical panel and Iā€™ll be in business.


P.s. still nervous about the hole šŸŸ

  Yupā€¦New Adventures await usā€¦..Loved every minute!!!  We have listed her with the broker who sold her to us, Gerry Zidner.  You can see her listing on boat dealers.ca.  We are back onboard  after our trip north. We had a nice trip back to Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ā€¦Lori and Danā€™s baby shower had a great turn outā€¦fun visit with my sister Louise and cousin Joanneā€¦.cloudy eclipse and celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary. Fellow Loopers taking our picture as they go by the marina while we were away.  Back on the moveā€¦..we left Wacca Wache marina in SC on April 13thā€¦.waiting for high winds to calm.  4 long days on the move and 4 nights at anchor leave us well positioned to cross the Albemarle Sound and weather conditions are perfect. Our first time going through Coinjock, a stop at their dock and diner at their restaurant. House specialty is Prime Rib that Richard enjoyed and I had the Ribeyeā€¦.it was very nice. Lake Simcoe

 We entered the Trent-Severn waterway on May 31stā€¦. Rice Lake is dense with weedsā€¦worst we have seen it and itā€™s early season yet. Le Boat has a fleet of boats just south of Peterborough now. 3 long days and about 20 locksā€¦I lost count and we arrive in Peterborough for one week stay. Well deserved break and extra special time with Vivie and Lori. Then 4 long days and 16 locksā€¦..Youngā€™s Point, Bobcaygen and Talbot to arrive in Keswick while weather was favourable on lake Simcoe. We love it here at Krates marina for its proximity to family and friends.  We will spend the summer here as we plan our transition back to land life.
