Mel’s Riverside Restaurant

🥶 this morning, we had to run the generator and turn on the heat, but it warmed up throughout the day.

One lock, going down 10 feet.

Our track for the day. Seems to be missing the first 2 hours; it gets confused when we stop at a lock for over an hour wait for all the looper boats to catch up and get tied up.

You’ll notice these two flags in a lot of my pictures. The white one is the American Great Loop Cruisers Association flag. That is how we identify each other on the water. The small American flag is a courtesy flag. You fly your country’s large flag at the back of the boat and a courtesy flag when you are in another country.

Our stop for the night is at a restaurant. We arrived last and tied up to Bello.

Dinner as a group was fun and food was great.

Thanks for explaining the flags. I was wondering about the US one. You’ll have to keep a notebook on all your new friends’ names!

Beautiful pictures of the area and your experiences; ALMOST like being there. 🫤
And yes, see that your temps are a bit nippy; 7 degrees here; high of 11 if we’re lucky.
