Bahia Honda State Park

We left Marathon Key after one last pretty sunset.

It was a pretty rough ride with 3 foot seas and high winds but we only had a 1 hour run to Bahia Honda.

Around the reef you can see the waves breaking on and through the old bridge under the missing section into a sheltered harbour.

The marina is small, cozy and friendly. Several loopers, new to us, requiring docktails to exchange stories.

We came over on February 7th and will probably be here for 10 days…forecast is very windy.

Exploring the park, a beach, trailer park, marina and trails.

2 manatees live inside the harbour.

On Friday we took the bus to Key West for $1 each way. We have been here before so we just did some strolling, eating, drinking and window shopping.

The fins you can see in the last post are dolphins 🐬

I hate those 3ft choppy waves!
We are in Vero Beach Florida and just walking the beach each day! Great weather and nice to be in sunshine. Happy you both are still having the trip of your dreams!
