 Love all the birds, Heron of some kind, I need an app. 


Our track, south on the ICW. 



Slow cruising on the ICW, beautiful waterfront homes and restaurants.



Municipal marina, great location…..close to downtown and walking trails.



The locals describe it as Key West vibe but more affordable…..lot’s of great shops, restaurants and small hotels.


Richard’s sister Sue and husband Rick arrive from Orlando for a few days stay. Always nice to see these two. 



Walks on the beach, always a favourite pastime. This is St Pete’s beach…..a quick car ride away. 



Saturday night was the boat parade….



Then dinner out at Pia’s, a lovely Italian restaurant. 




Fun times onboard Red Rover.





Explored a few walking trails nearby. 




This bicycle parade staging area was in the marina parking lot…it was fun to see them all decorated for the holidays.

We stayed here 9 days and also had a wonderful visit from Pete and Julie Slight, once members at St Andrews East Golf Club now wintering just north of here. We had lunch in town then back here for a boat tour and coffees. Forgot to capture the moment with my camera 😒….it was so nice to see them. We move on to Palmetto/Bradenton tomorrow.

  Yup…New Adventures await us…..Loved every minute!!!  We have listed her with the broker who sold her to us, Gerry Zidner.  You can see her listing on boat dealers.ca.  We are back onboard  after our trip north. We had a nice trip back to Canada 🇨🇦…Lori and Dan’s baby shower had a great turn out…fun visit with my sister Louise and cousin Joanne….cloudy eclipse and celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary. Fellow Loopers taking our picture as they go by the marina while we were away.  Back on the move…..we left Wacca Wache marina in SC on April 13th….waiting for high winds to calm.  4 long days on the move and 4 nights at anchor leave us well positioned to cross the Albemarle Sound and weather conditions are perfect. Our first time going through Coinjock, a stop at their dock and diner at their restaurant. House specialty is Prime Rib that Richard enjoyed and I had the Ribeye….it was very nice.   Richard and Thérèse’s boating adventure has come to an end and what an adventure it has been. Red Rover has been sold and will be heading to her new home in Halifax.  ~~~~~~ We are moving into a condo in downtown Stouffville in close proximity to our children and grandchildren.  We look forward to what comes next.  Thank you for following along;  we have enjoyed your comments and questions.

Bahamas, Green Turtle Cay

  We left Titusville Marina on January 6th….beautiful cruising day, lots of dolphins 🐬  We anchored out by Pelican Island for the night… Docked into Fort Pierce Marina for two nights waiting for high winds to pass before moving on.  A nerve racking 15 minutes of “seek immediate shelter tornado warnings in the area” alarms on our phones…scary, but it passed us without incident. Onto West Palm Beach…. Beautiful area, impressive homes….Stupid money 🤑.  We are anchored for the night and set for a 5am departure for our crossing to the Bahamas, West End on Grand Bahamas Island. We arrived by noon….no pictures of our crossing as I spent most of it drugged and below decks feeling green 🤢.  It wasn’t a bad crossing, just a little rolly.  Many boats pulled in after us that day as it was the only weather window permitting the crossing in a while. We spent 4 nights here, pinned down by high winds and rough seas.  It is a very nice area, so we make the best of it. Calm weather on Monday the 15th
