For Sale!!!

Yup…New Adventures await us…..Loved every minute!!!  We have listed her with the broker who sold her to us, Gerry Zidner.  You can see her listing on boat dealers.ca.  We are back onboard  after our trip north.

We had a nice trip back to Canada 🇨🇦…Lori and Dan’s baby shower had a great turn out…fun visit with my sister Louise and cousin Joanne….cloudy eclipse and celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary.

Fellow Loopers taking our picture as they go by the marina while we were away.

Back on the move…..we left Wacca Wache marina in SC on April 13th….waiting for high winds to calm.

4 long days on the move and 4 nights at anchor leave us well positioned to cross the Albemarle Sound and weather conditions are perfect.

Our first time going through Coinjock, a stop at their dock and diner at their restaurant.

House specialty is Prime Rib that Richard enjoyed and I had the Ribeye….it was very nice.

Last stretch going into the outskirts of Norfolk, Virginia.  Crossing mile marker 1 on the ICW.  See google below…interesting.

The ICW – or 'The Ditch', as it is affectionately known by many – stretches 1,088 miles (statute, not nautical) from Mile Marker 1 in Norfolk, Virginia, to its end point in Key West. It is part of a 3,000-mile series of interconnected waterways that can take you all the way from Virginia to Texas.”

Docked at the Atlantic Yacht Basin marina for one night and Richard gets advice from the service manager our rudder is making a grinding sound.  It seems it just needed a good cleaning and lubricant which Richard was able to do himself.

He did however sacrifice a finger….crushed it when the wrench slipped. 😖

Left the marina this morning after filling up with fuel….3.50 a gallon, thats as good as it will get on the east coast. We are now dock just across the river at the free dock…..waiting for a weather window to head into Chesapeake Bay.
